  • (1) The Downtown Grand opened on October 27, 2014.
  • (2) Bill's Gamblin' Hall reopened as The Cromwell on April 24, 2014.
  • (3) On March 2, the foreclosure by the creditors on the Hard Rock was completed.
  • (4) On August 22, 2014 the SLS opens on the site of the former Sahara.
  • (5) On June 29, 2014, LV was sold to Westgate Resorts.
  • (6) On October 30, 2014 the Quad changes its name to the Linq.
  • (7) Penn National Gaming agreed to purchase the Tropicana for $360 million on April 29, 2015.
  • (8) The Cosmopolitan has been sold to Blackstone Group on May 15, 2014. Regulatory approval was granted on December 18, 2014.
  • (9) Hooters sale by Canyon Capital Advisors to Trinity Hotel Investments was agreed on May 1, 2015, but the sale has not yet received regulatory approval.
